Final version of the AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack for Grand Theft Auto San Andreas released

New feature of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas

Back in July, we announced an AI-enhanced HD texture pack for Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. Created by modder ‘flyaway888’, this pack aimed to overhaul all textures in the game. And today we are happy to announce that its final version is available for download.

This final version comes with improved and more detailed textures, as well as brighter textures for better definition. It also increases the digital vibrance of all textures and fixes most visual issues.

In order to showcase the visual improvements, the modder posted a video comparison between Vanilla and modified versions of GTA: San Andreas.

Since Take-Two is currently removing a lot of GTA mods, I strongly suggest downloading it now. You can download this HD texture pack for Grand Theft Auto San Andreas here.

Finally, Rockstar could be working on remakes of the first three GTA 3D games in Unreal Engine. These games are obviously GTA 3, GTA San Andreas and GTA Vice City. Therefore, it will be interesting to see if the Rockstar remake looks as good as this unofficial San Andreas remake in Unreal Engine 4.

Enjoy!
