It’s a hell of a team, to be fair.

Sorry, Tom Hanks, you ask us who is the cutest in a movie about an adorable robot and an adorable dog? Coarse.

Apple TV + has released the first trailer for Bullfinch, his new post-apocalyptic movie with Tom Hanks—no stranger to working with dogsand led by Game Of Thrones‘Miguel Sapochnik. Located after a solar flare devastated Earth with multiple climatic disasters, Bullfinch follows the main character as he hides of the storm-ravaged surface in a high-tech bunker. Recovering the remnants of human civilization, Finch finds a canine companion to keep him company away from all that is left of humanity. But when a devastating new storm threatens to wipe out the bunker and leave them both dead, Finch has no choice but to start planning their escape …by building a robot that can help them cross America’s garbage, of course.

It’s super cute, especially when the robot and the dog start to bond slowly (albeit ominously because Finch needs someone to take care of his dog when he eventually passes), but it’s not. not always happy to link doggo / robo. It looks like Bullfinch At least going to have some pretty intense moments of action as the unlikely trio try to make their way through the tornadoes and more dangerous elements of human society left behind as a result of the eruption. Which at least means Sapochnik will be able to flex some of the action direction muscles he has trained since his time. Thrones, notably realizing intense sequences like the Battle of Winterfell and the King’s Landing siege in the final season, as well as the epic clashes at hard house and in the Battle of the Bastards. Less ice zombies, more dogs and cute robots this time around.

Bullfinch starts streaming on Apple TV + starting November 5.
