Fire Emblem: Three houses have a thrifty reserve, Sorta – E3 2019

[ad_1]

We reviewed Fire Emblem: Three Houses at Nintendo's E3 2019 Direct with a new trailer. Immediately after, during the company's Treehouse Live, we witnessed even more play from the next tactical role-playing game, including how permadeath works – or not.

A tweet from Nintendo America's official Twitter account has detailed a new capability called Divine Pulse. If you use this ability, you can go back or return to the beginning of the match if nothing happens in your favor. The capacity is however limited and there is no confirmation as to the number of times it can be used, the requirements for use or how to replenish the loads after use. It is an interesting interpretation of the typical franchise function, similar to that of Mila, Fire Emblem Echoes' Turnwheel: Shadows of Valentia of 3DS.

The sixteenth edition of Fire Emblem and the first on home consoles since 2007: Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Fire Emblem: Three Houses transports you to a continent called Fódlan, where the church of Seiros is in the center of everything. Similar to previous Fire Emblem entries, your customizable character is an advisor. However, this time, you are a professor at the Academy of Officers, with your warriors – divided into three houses according to their respective country – as students.

Pre-orders for the tactical RPG are now complete and there are a few different versions to buy from different retailers, each with its own bonuses. Fire Emblem: Three houses will be launched on July 26 for Nintendo Switch.
