UPDATE (12:26 PM) – CAL FIRE announced that the advance of the Crestview Fire near San Miguel had been stopped at 11 acres.
Firefighters should remain on the scene for the next few hours to clean the hot spots.
UPDATE (12:12 pm) – CAL FIRE reports that the Crestview fire has burned about six acres and firefighters are progressing into containment.

(11:49) – Firefighters reacted to a wildfire in the San Miguel area late Friday morning.
The fire was reported around 11:30 am and was named the Crestview Fire.
CAL FIRE indicates that the fire burned about five acres at a moderate rate of spread.
