First game sequence for Ys IX: Monstrum Nox

Falcom debuted the first gameplay sequence for Ys IX: Monstrum Nox during the Dengeki Game Fes 2019 on a livestream, showing a few minutes of characters exploring the city of Barduk.

A recording of the game snippets has been merged below from the YouTube user bambooshoots.

As previously reported in Famitsu magazine, Ys IX is at the furthest point of the series' timeline in a large prison town called Barduk. The game was mainly focused on crossing in a vast three-dimensional field, such as running on walls, flying in the air or using shooting points to move, as shown in the brief video. We see three characters: a female character resembling a cat, a man with black wings and the hero of the series, Adol, who appears slightly different from the normal this time.

Ys IX: Monstrum Nox should be released this fall in Japan on PlayStation 4.
