Guess what? A new Pokémon mobile game has just been released and the Australians are again the first to get their hands on it.
Pokémon Rumble Rush (also known as Pokémon Scramble SP in Japan) quietly released on Android devices on Wednesday.
It's a freemium style game, where you'll face a Pokémon glove on each level before facing a last boss.
A little like Pokemon Go, the game controls are quite simple: press furiously on the screen of your phone to attack, until you beat them all.
Along the way, you will collect coins and catch new, more powerful Pokémon (measured by their PC, or combat power), which will help you fight more powerful opponents.
There are items called Gears, which improve the stats of your Pokémon or help to attract another Pokémon to combat.
On the Adventure screen, you can scroll through a map to access islands and scenes that are full of better Pokémon to catch. You will need an object called Pen Guide to find new steps and to get the ones you will need to defeat the bosses that will loose them intermittently.
There is also a system called Super Boss, which offers higher rewards, but also more stringent requirements. To fight these super bosses, you may need Pokémon of a certain level of CP and have already caught some type of Pokémon.
These Super Boss stages also come with a time limit: Your first boss, Raticate, must be defeated within 45 seconds.
As the name suggests, it is a mobile derivative of Pokémon Rumble, a series of games developed by Ambrella, which were released by WiiWare in 2009.
Aside from the cute Pokémon, it does not seem to be a particularly interesting game, as the mechanics of tapping at the attack port is very fast.
According to the game's release page, the islands will be updated with new Pokémon every two weeks. It is therefore incentive to come back from time to time – if you are more accustomed to catching Pokemon.
For the moment, there is no date for a wider international release, but if it reflects Pokémon Go & # 39; s release plan, you should not wait any longer.
