First Next-Generation Update Released, Patch Notes Revealed

NBA 2K21 has released the first next-gen patch notes for the title and fans are happy to see all the progress. 2K Games has been talking about big game play for the next generation, and the early gameplay videos are astonishing in their fidelity. As has long been the case, nothing shows the potential of hardware like sports games. The resemblance to the players is just amazing, and with this new patch the results are even better. Along with this, 2K is also improving player face scans. City mode will benefit from new gameplay benefits and the way winning streaks follow each other in the game. Various camera issues have also been changed to make them less of a problem for players. There is still work to be done, but players are happy that a lot of things are being destroyed now rather than waiting for the third or fourth patch. Check out what 2K said about the release below:

* Trainer settings enabled, system mastery, game assignment and CPU / user cursor menus in Quick Play games pause menu
* Fixed defensive player face on some block animations
* Improved the behavior of coaching staff heading to the arena tunnel in some classic team arenas
* Improved spacing and behavior for players and coaches in huddle situations
* Fixed an issue with a particular jump ball setup that was not properly aligned with the center of the field
* Fixed a rare issue where the wrong replay was displayed during an official review of a upload error
* Changed camera angles so that they no longer cut off coaches and players during certain dwell sequences
* Improved players picking up the ball on incoming games

The city
* Performance improvements during City gameplay, focused on community reporting. Other optimizations to come
* New Black Lives Matter masks now available at Swags
* Fixed issue with Jump Shot Creator where exit speed would not register correctly when attempting to edit a previously created shot
* Even faster loading times when accepting city invites from various areas of the game
* Improved stability in Garage Hoops and Gatorade Rental Court games
* Win streaks will now be properly tracked at the end of City games
* Addressed various issues with camera warping / clipping near buildings and other objects when driving certain vehicles in the city
* Camera will now function correctly for all drills in the Gatorade Training Center when accessed through the Team Practice Center
* The game will no longer get stuck after purchasing boosts and immediately entering another store

My career
* Fixed a crash when attempting to access private practice leading to the draft. Backups that previously encountered this issue may also continue
* Comments will no longer be dropped during occasional periods of MyCAREER playoff games and after timeouts
* Empty social media posts will no longer appear in the destination menu during the draft portion of The Long Shadow
* Field props will no longer appear in certain approval images
* The VC balance will no longer be delayed when collecting earnings in the Rider menu
* Fixed a slight snag in Live Practice on the recap screen when all badges had been maximized
* Game objectives in the varsity portion of the block story can now be completed correctly
* Fixed an issue where attribute prices could appear as negative numbers

The W
* A number of improvements have been made to make it easier to start the W Online experience
* Fixed a disconnect that could occur at the end of W online games if a level upgrade was earned while playing
* Fixed a rare crash that occurred when attempting to change the appearance of MyPLAYER

MyNBA
* Fixed an issue where user-created expansion teams were uploading during the creation flow
* Fixed some rare stability issues when loading to a MyNBA Online save file
* Fixed a crash in MyNBA when simulating multiple games through Simcast with a 14-game season
* Fixed a crash that occurred when using certain custom league setups in MyNBA
* Several other improvements and stability changes to improve the overall experience
