A cache of the results of what appears to be the first iPhone 11 and 11 Pro review devices came online this week, revealing that Apple will offer for the first time identical A-series chip configurations on the market. medium and high level models.
When Apple unveiled the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 Pro at a special event last week, the company announced that it would abide by the conventions and feed the two lines of handsets with the same A-on-chip Bionic system. Unlike previous versions, however, this year's iPhones will be equipped with identical memory allotments and will operate at uniform clock speeds.
The results of the popular, publicly available Geekbench 4 benchmarking tool reveal six-core A13 chips that power the "iPhone12.1", "iPhone12.3" and iPhone12.5 "at 2.66 GHz. designate the iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro Max, respectively, come with 4GB of standard RAM.
In the past, Apple has paired its latest generation A-series processors with different amounts of memory, typically affected by the hardware level. For example, the A12 Bionic chips from the iPhone XR from 2018 were powered by 3GB of RAM, while the iPhone XS and XS Max accounted for 4GB of onboard memory. XR and XS both used A12 silicon at 2.49 GHz.
Geekbench scores arrive on the eve of the lifting of the embargo planned by Apple on the first tests iPhone 11 and 11 Pro.
Similar to a previous benchmark test supposed to have been taken from what is now known as the iPhone 11, today's collection of test results "iPhone12.1" gives an average a single-core score of 5453 and a multicore score of 12921. "iPhone12.3" averaged the single-core and multi-core scores of 5469 and 13874, respectively, while "iPhone12.5" averaged scores of 5480 and 13793, respectively.
Each phone is supposed to run on iOS 13, with its launch scheduled for September 19th.
The additional RAM allocation for Apple's "entry-level" iPhone 11 is probably a necessity for the hands-on hardware and software suite of the handset. It should be noted that all models of the 2019 iPhone incorporate the same set of features, many of which involve processor-intensive camera processes, including 4K video recording with extended dynamic range, the Night mode and the future photography function of Deep Fusion. Other features include augmented reality applications, next generation games, face identification biometrics, and more.
The pre-orders for iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro were launched last Friday in anticipation of a broad launch on September 20th.
