The games have not yet been decided in March, but the stories describing the winners of the first free agencies certainly are.
The NFL's information cycle has gained considerable momentum this year with a handful of huge names that have moved – both via free trade and agencies – in just a few days. A period of free agency that last week seemed intended to be boring finished among the most exciting in years.

Cleveland Browns
Browns, General Manager John Dorsey get Odell Beckham Jr. Giants for Jabrill Peppers, a first-round and third-round pick is absolutely incredible. Beckham and Jarvis Landry, two LSU alumni, are coming together to give a lot of options to quarterback Baker Mayfield if he does not hand over to Nick Chubb, Duke Johnson or Kareem Hunt.

Green Bay Packers

But general manager Brandon Beane, in second year, amassed a nice early lead in the free agency.
The John Brown speedster will team up with quarterback armed Josh Allen. Then there is Cole Beasley in the slot. Beane caught center Mitch Morse to restart the offensive line. He also took on striker Tyler Koft and added Frank Gore's ageless surprise to a one-year contract as he continued his progression on the rushing yards list.
Patriots of New England
Sometimes the best moves are the ones you do not do. As usual, the Patriots decided not to pay much money to Trey Flowers and Trent Brown. New compensatory choices are coming to Bill Belichick!
But Belichick is not without help. He traded against Michael Bennett, who had one of the best seasons of one of the least-season defensemen of last season. He also hired cornerback Jonathan Jones and signed a two-year contract with Jason McCourty.
Having an elite quarterback on a team friendly deal really helps.
Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles were ready to overthrow Michael Bennett in a cost-saving move when they got a fifth round of New England for him. They decided not to do any nonsense and not to score Nick Foles. They will likely have a third round pick for him in 2020. Howie Roseman left Jason Peters' tackle on a one year contract and signed a pass for Malik Jackson. $ 30 million over three years. And center Jason Kelce signed an extension at UPS Store.
And finally, the best exchange of the dead season was to bring DeSean Jackson back to Philadelphia. The wedding with Jameis Winston in Tampa has never worked, so Jackson's return to a team that should never have gotten rid of him (thanks, Chip Kelly!) Is the right decision.
