Georgian Conservative Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene on Thursday kept her promise to file articles of impeachment against President Biden.

The freshman Republican, who backed QANON’s conspiracy theories and criticized the 25,000 National Guards deployed to Washington DC to protect the presidential nomination, took to Twitter to make his announcement.

“I just filed articles of impeachment on President Joe Biden, we’ll see how it goes,” Greene said.

Fox News was unable to reach leaders in the Republican House for comment on the recent decision, but Greene immediately used his ad to raise money for an “Impeach Joe Biden Fund.”

Greene’s impeachment records were not readily available, but in a press release she claimed she was basing the impeachment on alleged abuse of power by Biden since he was deputy. President.

Greene accused Biden of “allowing corruption” and “blatant nepotism” by using his son Hunter Biden’s stance on Ukrainian energy company Burisma.

“President Joe Biden is unfit for the presidency. His behavior of abuse of power as President Obama’s vice president is long and disturbing,” she wrote in a statement Thursday. “President Biden has demonstrated that he will do whatever is in his power to bail out his son, Hunter, and line his family’s pockets with money from corrupt foreign energy companies.

Biden has repeatedly denied that he involved US foreign policy in Kiev with his son’s work. And Senate Republicans have found no evidence of wrongdoing after completing their own months-long investigation into corruption allegations last year.

Greene’s articles of impeachment shouldn’t go very far with a Democratic-controlled House, but Fox News couldn’t reach the House Judiciary Committee’s ranking member, Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio , for comments.

Greene announced last week, just hours after President Trump’s historic second indictment by the House, that she would present articles of impeachment against Biden.

The first-year Republican has previously had her Twitter account temporarily suspended for tweeting debunked allegations of voter and voter fraud in Georgia – despite her name on the same ballot as President Trump’s, despite her loss.

But she took to Twitter Thursday to say that “the inauguration looked like a military takeover of the state by a party with 30,000 troops.”
