Fitness update on Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson and Jordan Henderson after Liverpool training today

Mohamed Salah is on his way to prepare for Sunday Premier League final race against Wolves at Anfield.

The Egypt attacker has recovered from the heavy blow to the head in Newcastle United.

Under the protocol for concussed players, Salah will be allowed to return to full training with his team-mates on Sunday and will be available to play on Sunday.

Andy Robertson was not involved in Friday's session as Liverpool continues to tread carefully with the international Scotland, who was forced off against Barcelona in midweek due to a calf problem.

If Robertson does not recover in time to face Wolves then James Milner is on standby to fill the void at left-back.

As expected, striker Roberto Firmino was also absent. He's been ruled out of the final league game, but Jurgen Klopp is confident the Brazil striker will be fit for the final Champions League against Tottenham on June 1.

Captain Jordan Henderson was able to play a full part in Friday's session. The long-serving midfielder played on the pain barrier after taking a heavy blow to the knee against Barca.

Henderson, who was outstanding against the La Liga champions, revealed how he had taken painkillers and had an injection into the game.

Sadio Mane and Fabinho also picked up knocks on Tuesday night but they were passed to train and should be in the line up to take on Wolves.

If Liverpool beat Nuno Espirito Santo's side and Manchester City drop points at Brighton then the Reds will be crowned champion.
