WWE Raw will take place tonight at the brand new Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
There will be a deadly match to name the challenger of world champion Seth Rollins, who will defend his title in Raw's "first" next season – just six days of his planned defense against Bray Wyatt in hell in a cell. The five-man selection will include US champion AJ Styles, intercontinental champion Shinsuke Nakamura, half of the champions raw label teams Robert Roode, Rey Mysterio and Ricochet.
Wyatt, who played The Fiend last week, will have a new episode of Firefly Fun House tonight.
Other matches have also been announced for tonight. Nikki Cross (with Alexa Bliss) will face Sasha Banks (with Bayley). There will also be a rematch of King of the Ring as winner, Baron Corbin, facing Chad Gable.

Bray Wyatt edited the signature video that aired before the series began, before summarizing what happened between Wyatt and Seth Rollins.
Rollins came to start the show. Rollins said he has seen a lot in the past seven years, but never felt what he felt last week. After being attacked by five guys, he had a living incarnation of a nightmare in front of his face. All he can do is close his eyes and hope that it will be a bad dream of which he could wake up.
But it was not a dream and it got worse because, in Hell in a Cell, he had to defend the title against Wyatt. Rollins said that he would do what he always does: survive and take it away. Rollins spoke of his survival and dominance against Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman recently.
Strowman interrupted. He wanted Rollins to say it in the face. He also blamed Rollins for having lost the tag titles and accused him of being afraid to fight again. Rollins basically said he was not scared of Strowman, he just had a lot of points on his plate with two defenses for the upcoming title, both against Wyatt at HIAC and Raw next week. This eventually led Rollins to challenge Strowman, who accepted. (The match was made official after a break.)
It was not good. I do not care what Rollins has raked a few lines, he had a long text, but he finally confessed that he was afraid of Fiend.
The Viking Raiders defeated Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson (American Champion AJ Styles) (10:44)
Michael Cole said, "Are you ready to join the raid ?!" As the Viking Raiders entered (as he shouted, "This is the boss's moment" when Sasha Banks enters.) The CO has some news music.
The Raiders were in control until Ivar was distracted by Styles. The referee hit Ring Styles. On leaving, Cédric Alexander attacked him on the stage and pursued him in the back.
After a break, the commander had control. Ivar used a sentinel on Gallows, then scored on Erik who went wild on Anderson before scoring Ivar back inside. Erik sent Ivar to Anderson to overthrow him. Gallows took Ivar out of the ring and Anderson gave Erik a spinebuster for two. The CO followed with Boot of Doom but Erik was kicked out.
Erik is beaten against a Magic Killer, then Ivar is inserted and offered Anderson a Viking experience. Erik eliminated Gallows with a dive and Ivar pinned Anderson for the win. The crowd became more interested in the Viking Raiders as the match progressed and won.
Charly Caruso asked Robert Roode why he thought he could win tonight's match. Roode was furious with the question and noted that he had already beaten Rollins when they had won the titles. He said that tonight's result would be glorious.
In the previous match, Smackdown had aired an ad in Canada on Friday and they were using Byron Saxton's voiceover, calling it the first WWE show.
There was an advertisement later for Total Divas with Ronda Rousey. Sonya Deville claimed to be the first openly gay woman in the WWE.
Interview with Becky Lynch
Cole interviewed Lynch. Lynch said that she wanted Banks to be at his best. She said she left the women's division of Smackdown in good health before moving to Raw, where the division was in shambles after Rousey went through everyone. Lynch knew that she could not do the story alone and that's why she called everyone, especially Banks.
Cole told him that there was only one female HIAC meeting and that Banks was there. Lynch said Banks did not win this game and was eager to be in the cell with her. Lynch said Banks was not only trying to fight her when she came back, she was trying to finish it with all those chair strokes. Lynch said Banks would have a chance at HIAC and she'd better take it. It was good.
Rusev defeated EC3 (1:41)
The match started with a song "We want Lana", which Corey Graves acknowledged. Rusev won quickly by submission after a superkick and Accolade.
Backstage, Rey Mysterio said that this case was his entire life and that he had overcome a moment of serious doubt through his son Dominick. Mysterio dedicated the match to him.
Sasha Banks (Bayley, Women's SmackDown Champion) defeated Women's Team Champion Nikki Cross (with Alexa Bliss) (15:36)
They continued to call it a great match for Cross and a win would be perhaps the biggest of his career. Cross was in control for the first few minutes. She applied a sleeper to the outside, but Banks dropped it against the rug and they went to break.
[Second hour]
Banks was in control after the break and hit the knee twice. Cross came back with strokes to the forearm, a charge being run and a bulldog for two. Banks again used a double knee strike for two. Banks worked on the leg, but Cross fought back and threw it into the turnbuckle. Cross then gave Cross an apron on the outside of the apron.
Cross pulled Banks over the middle rope, then used a helmet for two. Banks used a baseball toboggan, but Cross then caught her between the ring and the skirt and pummeled him. Cross nailed her with the choker but Bayley jumped on the apron to distract him. Bliss then took Bayley.
Cross fetched a flying crossbody, but Banks has pioneered a way through for the win. Banks kicked Cross after the match, then attacked Bliss before she could rescue. The crowd was silent for most of the match, but ended up in goals. The story was that Cross was Banks's equal and should have won.
The OC had a meeting behind the scenes. I guess Styles escaped Alexander at one point.
WWE is pleased to have many Facebook subscribers.
They announced that Lesnar would appear in the premiere of the Raw season next week. Looks like there is also a new Raw logo.
Street Profits spoke backstage until they were interrupted by The Miz. Miz announced the birth of her second child and Marye, cheered by the crowd. He also announced MizTV next week with Hulk Hogan (who was booed) and Ric Flair.
They aired a video clip of Lesnar striker Kofi Kingston and hooked up their Smackdown match on Oct. 4. At Smackdown tomorrow, Daniel Bryan will address Roman Reigns.
Lacey Evans defeated Ember Moon (5:32)
Number one enemy in Canada, Lacey Evans was mocked by Moon in the beginning, which gave him a kick in the neck. Evans took over by simply pushing Moon against the carpet and driving her out of the ring. Moon withdrew from a ball at rest and hit a Samoan drop. Moon then dodged the "women's right" and launched a series of strikes.
With Evans on the outside, there was a cool spot where Moon was hanging upside down, using his feet to hold the rope down, then grabbed Evans and gave him a stunning stun. However, she only had two accounts in the ring. Moon went to the top but Evans caught her with the "women's right". Evans then applied a Sharpshooter for the bid win.
Natalya told Sarah Schrieber that if Evans wanted to fight, she'd better get ready to get out of the ring.
Firefly Fun House
Wyatt hung an empty picture frame on his wall to accompany the images of Rollins, Kane, Kurt Angle, Jerry Lawler, Finn Bálor and Mick Foley. He said there was always room for one more. The puppets of pork and rabbit fought a Rollins figurine.
Wyatt said you should not be too attached to anything and he knew what it was like to be abandoned by those who held him dearest to heart. Wyatt said that Rollins did not like sharing but thought his puppet friends might share. He tore the Rollins toy in half. "We see each other in hell."
Advertisers broadcast the NXT show last week.
R-Truth and Carmella sprinted into the ring and the usual losers chased them. Before the group could attack, Carmella begged them to stop. She said it consumed her life because she could not eat or sleep. She then launched Truth to win the title, which prompted a good reaction.
The truth raised its hand under the gaze of others. Sarah Logan, Billie Kay, Dana Brooke and Tamina fled, so Carmella and Truth fled into the crowd.
Behind the scenes, Sami Zayn meditated Shinsuke Nakamura until Nakamura interrupted him in Japanese. Zayn is excused and settled.
Chad Gable defeated Baron Corbin via DQ (14:52)
Corbin came out with a king's outfit, a black crown, a black scepter, and a black leather cloak with fur. He was still fighting in pants and a tank top. Corbin told Gable that tonight's match would be short and after tonight, he will not face any less than 5 years. "
Corbin threw Gable over the barricade into two factories and they took a break three minutes after the start of the match.
[Third hour]
After the break, Gable seemed to go back up until Corbin cut him with a running elbow. Gable came back later with a springboard crossbody and knocked, but Corbin cut it again, this time with a boot.
Gable fought back with three consecutive setbacks and climbed to the top, but Corbin caught him and crushed him. Gable pitted a chokeslam at a sunset cover for two people, then Corbin hit chokeslam for an impending crash. The crowd mingled and began chanting "Chad, Chad, Chad".
Gable avoided a double ax handle, then hit a German suplex and moonsault for an imminent approach. The crowd sang for Gable who countered an end of time in an ankle lock. Corbin was beaten for the ropes, then grabbed his scepter and timed Gable with this one for the DQ.
Corbin continued the attack as the crowd nodded (Gable blew a little from his mouth, which gave him a better look). The crowd really went to Gable here and it's the loudest of all the night.
There was a new promotion AOP. It was different It started with AOP sitting and talking like last week, then they got up in the middle, left the locker room and went down the hall where they found and attacked Heath Slater and another person ( I did not notice who it was). The camera went black for a moment, then came back and AOP was back in their place. AOP stated that they had just shown why no one wanted to confront them.
Rey Mysterio defeated Ricochet, Robert Roode, American Champion AJ Styles and Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura (with Sami Zayn) in a 5-game elimination match to become the number one contender in the Universal Championship.
It was announced at random when the wrestlers came in that it was a match for elimination. Ricochet did a lame interview before the match. Graves wondered where Ziggler was.
Ricochet and Mysterio had a brief look back but had been interrupted before they could interact. Mysterio dipped on Styles and Ricochet dived on Namakura, then they went to take a break in the game.
Styles and Roode looked at each other, which resulted in a short "TNA" song. They worked together for a while until Roode tried to attack Styles, but he kicked him out of Pele. Nakamura kicked Ricochet until Ricochet caught him with an enziguri. Mysterio took out Nakamura with a seated sentry.
Mysterio and Ricochet finally went and the crowd buzzed a bit. Ricochet opposed a DDT to a suplex for two. Styles attacked Ricochet but Ricochet caught him with a dropkick. Ricochet gave Roode a springboard and recoil line, but Nakamura flew inside and gave Ricochet a Kinsasha for the fall. Nakamura eliminates Ricochet (9:43).
The crowd seemed surprised that Ricochet had come out first. After a break, there was an unfortunate spot tower where Roode powerbombed Styles and Nakamura made Mysterio mysterious. Roode tried to cover each of them but they were all kicked out. Nakamura grabbed Roode with a kick and a knee on the middle rope for an imminent approach.
Styles and Nakamura attempted strikes, Namakura was right, leading to a tally in two. Mysterio gave Nakamura a 619 but Styles gave Mysterio a nod on the apron. Styles then gave Nakamura a phenomenal forearm for the fall. Styles eliminates Nakamura (17:47).
Roode then flew and offered Styles a glorious DDT for success. Roode eliminates styles (18:03).
The crowd was really behind Mysterio while Roode was measuring it. Mysterio went for a 619 but Roode caught him with a spinebuster for a loved one. Mysterio countered a DDT and hit a 619 followed by a frog splash for victory at the fall. Mysterio eliminates Roode and wins the match (20:21).
It was fun. The crowd was very happy that Mysterio had won. That's Mysterio vs. Rollins for the title next week.
Behind the scenes, Rollins told Caruso that facing Mysterio was a dream match. He knew that he still had to face Wyatt and Strowman tonight. It seemed like he was complaining about having to play too many games. He said that he would hit them all and burn him down.
They hooked up the show next week and announced Bliss Vs. Banks.
