Five nights at AR Freddy brings terror to your living room

Five Nights at Freddy's, the famous independent horror franchise that spends the night in a deranged children's play area, invaded by twisted animatronic creatures, comes to life, and gets an AR spin-off later in the year.

What better way to spend Friday the 13th than to read an article on the next spin-off of an AR horror game for one of the most popular and most popular horror brands? recognizable on the planet? As a person sufficiently terrified by AR applications such as Night Terrors and Bloody Mary's follow-up, as well as by a host of virtual reality horror titles such as Resident Evil 7, The Exorcist VR, etc., I can definitely say without a doubt I am convinced that Freddy's Five Nights at AR: Special Delivery will be absolutely terrifying.

Illumix is developing Freddy's Five Nights at AR. This is a relatively new start-up, focused on the AR, which wants to change the way the games are consumed. "Augmented reality offers gamers new ways to interact and interact with their favorite franchises by combining real-world environments, fictional characters, and innovative gameplay," said Kirin Sinha, CEO and founder of Illumix. "With Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery, we wanted to go beyond the traditional AR-optional geolocation game and deliver a more meaningful AR experience by integrating AR into the heart of the game."

We do not know much about the game yet, but I guess it will be a bit of a hide-and-seek mix and try to stop the animatronic creature from reaching you like other iterations. The screenshots below give an overview of how the game works:

The VR version, dubbed Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted, follows the same format as non-VR iterations with your control camera and door locks from a fixed location while you juggle access blocking while preserving the life of the battery. A similar format could well translate mobile AR if done correctly.

Five nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery is due out this fall, probably in October, and I think it will be for iOS and Android devices. You can pre-register now on the official website website.
