Floods cause road closures in northeastern Ohio

Floods in northeastern Ohio have left a popular store and several roads closed.

Cheesebarn grandfather announced that it would be closed Sunday because of floods.

Police also warned that several roads surrounding northeastern Ohio had been closed due to floods:

  • Barber Road is closed from the Barberton Sports Complex to Morgan Avenue.
  • National Highway 303 is closed from Jefferson Street to Stone Road and crews pump water out of Seasons Road.
  • Floods have been reported in the Hommon Road neighborhood of Ravenna, as well as in South Prospect Street near Ohio Avenue.

According to the National Weather Service, flash flood monitoring is in effect throughout northeastern Ohio until June 18.
