FRANKENMUTH, MI – Water is reported on the roads as a result of flooding in Saginaw County.
Floods still occur in Michigan
A flood advisory is in effect for Saginaw County and North Genesee County until 10:45 am Saturday.
The Central Dispatch of Saginaw County reported Saturday, May 25 at 06:56 that "many roads are covered with water". Michigan State Police also indicated that there was water on Interstate 75 heading north near the 134-mile landmark.
Several fields, ditches and courses along the M-83 to Frankenmuth have also been covered, with some residents reporting flooding in their basements. Poor weather conditions also resulted in the cancellation of the early morning takeoff of several hot air balloons near the Bavarian Inn.
The National Meteorological Service has announced that Saginaw County would be undergoing a flood warning until 10:45 am Saturday.
