LEXINGTON, Kentucky – Florida quarterback Feleipe Franks was injured in the right leg at the end of the third quarter of the 9th Southeastern Conference Gators Conference against Kentucky on Saturday night.

Franks struggled before Calvin Taylor Jr. of the Wildcats blocked anything for a fourth and a goal in Kentucky 38. The team's medical staff arrived on the field and quickly placed an inflatable cast under his right leg. Frank junior was put on a cart and taken for observation. Franks completed 12 of 17 passes for 174 yards and 15 yards before the injury.

Florida players wandered around Franks on the trolley to offer support before he was taken under the applause of a sold-out crowd to Kroger Field. He is replaced by junior Kyle Trask during the next transfer.

Associated Press contributed to this report.
