A Walmart in Brooksville, Fla. Was evacuated just minutes after opening on Black Friday after a trailer truck in the store’s parking lot caught fire, police said.

The fire started just after 5 a.m. in a tractor-trailer near the store on Cortez Boulevard, according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.

An MP who was already stationed at the hypermarket heard an explosion at the west end of the facility, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office.

After rushing to the scene and checking for people in the three parked semi-trailers, the deputy was able to help the lone occupant get to safety. The fire appears to have started in one of the trailers and then spread to the two neighbors when fire crews arrived at the scene.

The store, which was evacuated, has since reopened after fire crews were able to put out the blaze, according to an update from the sheriff’s office at 8 a.m.

No one was injured in the explosion and the fire that followed. The sheriff’s office said it was still working to determine the cause.
