It was a really good year for staff at a Miami restaurant when a woman left a massive $ 2,021 tip on her $ 71.00 takeout order on Friday morning.
According to The Miami Herald, an unidentified woman from Florida left a gargantuan tip for all the staff at a North Miami Beach restaurant called Miami Squeeze to start the year off right:
One of Miami Squeeze’s loyal patrons walked around around 10 a.m. on New Years Day and ordered his usual breakfast with some toast to go: three avocado toast with eggs and three smoothies. .
Her total was $ 71.84, but she left a note on the tab with an exponentially larger total: “Happy New Year !!! I always love to come here.
It took a few moments for the staff to realize that their additional tip was not $ 20.21, but in fact $ 2021, enough to tip almost $ 100 for each of the 22 juice bar employees and from the health food restaurant in North Miami Beach.
The restaurant posted the receipt on Instagram, along with an appreciation note:
