Foo Fighters teased their upcoming 10th album this week. They shared a new music teaser yesterday after eagle-eyed fans spotted the band’s “ FF ” logo in various places next to an “ X, ” the Roman numeral for 10. A black and white clip of a burning coffin has also appeared when Spotify users are playing some Foos tracks.
Foo Fighters last released a full album with ‘Concrete And Gold’ in 2017, and confirmed in February that they had finished recording its follow-up. In May, Dave Grohl compared the new album to David Bowie’s 1983 LP “Let’s Dance”.
“It’s filled with huge, anthemic rock songs,” he explained. “It’s a bit like a dance record, but not an EDM, disco, modern dance record. He has groove. For me, it’s our record “Let’s Dance” by David Bowie. That’s what we wanted to do, we wanted to invent this really fun record.
