Foo Fighters enter UK fifth with ‘Medicine at Midnight’

Medicine at midnight is the fifth UK No.1 album from Dave Grohl and Co after One by one (2002), Echoes, silence, patience and grace (2007), Wasting light (2011) and Concrete and gold (2017).

It is also the best-selling vinyl album, with 10,500 copies to occupy the top spot in the official UK vinyl records chart.

On the official British singles table, Olivia Rodrigo’s “driving license” (Interscope) parks at the top for a fifth consecutive week.

The power ballad of the teenage Californian actor and singer recorded an additional 59,000 sales, including 7.2 million streams, to push Nathan Evans’ “Wellerman” (Polydor) with 220 Kid & Billen Ted, which occupied second place.
