The Food Network has cleaned up its final season of reality TV series America’s Worst Cooks after his champion was arrested for the murder of a child.

Ariel Robinson, 29, was charged on Tuesday with her husband Jerry Robinson over the death of a 3-year-old girl in South Carolina. They face charges of child abuse homicide following the death of their adopted daughter.

On January 14, police found a callous child at the couple’s home in Simpsonville, South Carolina, WHNS television reported. The girl died of several blunt injuries, a medical examination revealed. She has been identified as Victoria Smith, according to Greenville station.

Ariel Robinson won $ 25,000 in the last edition of The worst cooks in America, a competition between people whose culinary skills are admittedly mediocre. They go through a training camp under the supervision of a famous chef in the competition.

The Food Network has cleaned up all content related to the Season 20 show. The competition was filmed in February 2020 and aired last year. The Food Network has yet to comment on the Robinson incident.

Robinson was a recently retired teacher and aspiring comedian. She also added three foster children to her family in March 2020 after the series was taped, but it is not known if the murdered child was one of them.
