Kerry Vincent, Beloved Food Network host and cake maker, has passed away. She was 75 years old.
News of Vincent’s death, due to an unrecognized illness, was announced by the nonprofit she co-founded, the Oklahoma Sugar Art Show, via their Facebook page on Saturday.

“It is with great sadness that I must report the passing of Kerry Vincent earlier this evening,” the statement read.
“Being a very private person when it came to anything that wasn’t cake, she didn’t want to expose her illness to the public. Unfortunately, her fight is over but she will have no more pain. I deeply regret everyone she touched through the sugar arts, as well as personally. There will be no services at his request. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. “

Born in the town of Wyalkatchem in Western Australia, the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based baker known to fans as the “Queen of Cakes” invented unique baking techniques in the candy industry, including the Vincent marquetry, a method used for fondant finish and movement in painted sugar frills and baseboards, according to the Oklahoma State Sugar Art Show website.

Vincent created his own cake recipes and served as a wedding cake consultant before becoming a judge on the competitive culinary reality TV show “Food Network Challenge” and host of the network’s “Save My Bakery” show in 2014 .
The Food Network did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News.
