The fourth week of the fantasy football season raises tough questions for homeowners who are starting to prepare. If you opt for a proven option such as Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, who will face a Green Bay Packers defense on Thursday night, or opt for an inexpensive option like Panthers quarterback Kyle. Allen, who threw for 261 yards and four touchdowns last week against the Cardinals? Who should be higher in your football ranking of the week 4 Fantasy? Will a player like the Giants' backhander, Wayne Gallman, who will replace the injured Saquon Barkley, be part of your top football choices for Fantasy Week 4? These are the types of questions that owners will have to answer before finalizing their football strategy for Week 4 Fantasy. With so much uncertainty and so much at stake this week, check out the Week 4 Fantasy Football Standings in SportsLine's advanced computer model.

According to the ranking of the players, their model beat the human experts in fantastic football last season while there were big differences in ranking. And the model was closest to the hole in general, which meant that it was more accurate to determine where each player would finish each week. During a season, this could literally be the difference between winning your league or going home empty handed.

Last week, the model was extremely high on Buccaneers quarterback, Jameis Winston, claiming that he would finish in the top 5 players at his post, although he started in less than 50% leagues. Result: Winston had 380 yards and three touchdowns against the Giants, finishing QB5. All those who had it in their lineup were well gone for a huge week.

The model, which simulates 10,000 times each game, revealed its 2019 Fantasy Ranking for Week 4 of the NFL season. One model's player is high on this week: Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers.

The Los Angeles veteran quarterback completed 31 of his 46 attempts for a total of 318 yards and two touchdowns last week against the Texans. In his first three games of the season, Rivers has racked up 944 yards with five touchdowns and will be looking to continue this season against a porous secondary Dolphins. In fact, the Dolphins gave up 324 passing yards and five touchdowns to Ravens' Lamar Jackson quarterback in the first week, and allowed the Cowboys Dak Prescott to score a total of three touchdowns last week.

The Dolphins' defense ranks 28th in the NFL for passing yards, allowing opponents an average of 291.3 takeoffs. That's why the SportsLine Football League Fantasy 2019 ranking classifies Rivers as a solid QB1 during Week 4, even though it's already trained in less than 55% of CBS sports leagues.

And a huge shock: Adam Thielen, wide receiver of the Vikings, who scored a touchdown in two of his first three games, falls heavy and does not even rank in the top 25.

Thielen broke records in Minnesota's win against the Raiders on Sunday, finishing with three receptions for 55 yards and one touchdown and adding one point to the race. However, Thielen and the Vikings have to go to Soldier Field this week to face the Bears, who have an extremely disturbing defense that gives only 13 points per game.

In addition, Thielen has struggled against Chicago in recent years, failing to score a touchdown and scoring less than 70 yards in his last six games against the Bears. It's a player to consider putting on the bench during the 4th week and he's squarely out of the conversation with WR1.

The model also calls a surprising quarterback that you do not even think to be in the top 10 of his Fantasy Week 4 football standings. This player could make the difference between winning big and going home with nothing.

So who should you sit down and start this week? And what a surprising quarterback could lead you to victory? Now head over to SportsLine to get Fantasy Week 4 football rankings for each position, and see which QB will be out of nowhere to rank in the top 10, all from the model that beat the strength experts last season.
