Ryan Day is in eight days before unveiling the first Ohio State team under his bar as head coach at the spring match.

The day is not the only novelty of this team Buckeyes, two quarters in the running for the starting position, the sophomore Justin Fields and the young recruit Matthew Baldwin, would be the first starters in the fall.

Despite Fields' participation in the first team in Friday's free practice, Day said there was not much separation between the two.

"I think the percentage of completion is pretty close right now with these guys," Day said. They cover a few more areas. The percentage of achievement is therefore comparable to that of Dwayne last spring. "

Day added that because of the defense of the area, his quarterbacks had to cope with spring training, he would expect a higher number of completions and "they are not there yet".

The state of Ohio has been working to put more action under the center in spring training for the coming season. According to Day, he will use two tight sets that will give the strength of a group he qualifies as the most experienced back.

Seniors Luke Farrell and Rashod Berry and sophist Jeremy Ruckert combined for only 30 tight kernel receptions last season, but played a leading role in the match against the Ohio State offensive this spring .

If the return to the game is a force for the Buckeyes, Day said that the offensive line could be a weakness because of his lack of depth.

Junior offensive striker Thayer Munford was ruled out of the spring training because of injury, leaving the Buckeyes to eleven offensive linemen, while Day said he would like to have 16 on the stock market.

According to Day, the depth of light on the line will affect how the spring match will take place next Saturday.

"We're probably going to use a stopwatch in the second half, which we've done in the past, so we get some more veteran players like [senior offensive lineman Branden Bowen] and some of the guys who have played more, out of the game, "said Day.

Despite the changes to the clock to allow for faster play, Day said the spring match was still essential for young players to play in front of thousands of players at Ohio Stadium.

As the spring game fast approached, the intensity of Friday's training, which according to Day was one of the team's most energetic, was strengthened.

Senior cornerback Damon Arnette and wide junior receiver Jaylen Harris traded their attacks down, their helmets near the sideline after a scrum session on Friday, but Day was not worried.

"I like the fact that they're picking on it," Day said. "I think if you do not have any kind of fight, then you may not have the right team."
