For honor will soon welcome another new hero to the game when Gryphon releases with the start of Season 4 of Year 4 on December 10. Ubisoft introduced gamers to the grizzled veteran hero this week ahead of Gryphon’s arrival at For honor with a trailer to show off its backstory and long history with war as well as some of the moves and weapons it will bring to the battlefield. Like other heroes released throughout the seasons, Gryphon will soon be available for purchase for those who wish to add it to their rosters.
You can meet Gryphon in the trailer below which features the narration of the fighter himself as he details his story. He’s been known by many different names in the past, he said, but he now goes through Gryphon, and he apparently has refined virtues and moral codes that back him up in his fight.
Gryphon wields the enormous two-handed Bardiche weapon suitable for a hero who seeks to dominate others during combat. At one point in the video, we can also see Gryphon using a small one-handed crossbow to interrupt an enemy’s charge.
