A recent thread on the Mach-E Forum and the InsideEVs Forum says buyers of Ford Mustang Mach-E have received an email advising them that their estimated delivery date has been updated. Also, some Mach-E buyers have shared this, while their electric crossovers are already on the trains for delivery, their delivery dates have been pushed back again.
***UPDATE: We received this comment from Ford on this:
“As part of our commitment to delivering high quality vehicles, we are performing additional quality checks on several hundred Mustang Mach-E models built before dealer shipments began last month. We want to make sure they meet the quality that our customers expect and deserve.
We’ve attached the email, along with other related information in the image below:
Mach-E Forum recently announced a shipment of Mustang Mach-E crossovers that had already arrived at a distribution center in the United States. Still, it looks like order-holders may have to wait up to a month for their cars to arrive.
According to a member posted on the Mach-E forum, their Mach-E was manufactured on December 6, but now the delivery has been delayed from the original date of February 9 to March 24.
As expected, there is a lot of gossip and speculation related to the potential delay. However, at the time of writing, Ford has yet to comment publicly. We contacted the automaker for more information.
Have you ordered a Mustang Mach-E? If so, have you received an email like the one pictured above? If you have any additional information, contact us in the comments or drop by the Mustang Mach-E corner of the InsideEVs Forum.
