Ford Ranger 2019 dark with the new package appearance

The 2019 Ford Ranger pickup officially hit dealerships earlier this year and since then the automaker claims that more than two-thirds of all trucks were purchased with one of the appearance sets of the model. To continue this momentum, Ford announced Monday a new package "Black Appearance" which, in our eyes, is rather beautiful.

The ranger's black appearance package is pretty self-explanatory. By opting for this pack, you will get a number of black exterior elements, including a new grille, 18-inch wheels, running boards, ventilation braces, mirrors and more. The black-look group is available in all ranger body colors, which can be viewed in the gallery below.

This new package is not limited to a specific trim level or body style, it will add $ 1,995 to the net result of the truck. Ford says the Black Appearance Package is available for order now, with the first deliveries taking place this summer.

The new Ford Ranger is a great addition to the mid-size pickup segment, well positioned to fight the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon twins, as well as the Honda Ridgeline, Nissan Frontier and Toyota Tacoma. Ford has already had increase Ranger production to satisfy a strong demand.

All Rangers are equipped with a 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine, with a power output of 270 horsepower and a 310-pound-foot torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission sends power to the ground via a two- or four-wheel drive of your choice. The Ranger can tow up to 7,500 pounds.

We have thoroughly tested the Ranger since its launch. So be sure to read our first record and thorough examination for more impressions.
