CLEVELAND, Ohio – A preliminary investigation revealed no definitive cause of death for Taylor Ceepo, 22, who collapsed during the Cleveland Marathon Sunday.

Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner, Thomas Gilson, issued a statement Monday night about Ceepo, a recent graduate of Walsh University in Medina.

"The preliminary investigation into Taylor Ceepo's death has not revealed a definitive cause," Gilson said in a statement. "Additional tests and a medical history review will be done in order to establish take in the order of weeks." No additional information is available at this time. "

Ceepo collapsed during the Cleveland Marathon and was transported to university hospitals. Officials said that Ceepo died on arrival at the hospital, but that he had no more details.

University hospitals have provided medical treatment for the marathon, caring for 60 to 70 people, said spokesman George Stamatis at cleveland.com. Temperatures reached the 80s late Sunday morning. The normal temperature for the marathon is 70 degrees.

Stamatis was unable to provide the number of people treated for heating. Conditions included dehydration, muscle tension and orthopedic problems.
