Cox predicted a successful recall from Newsom on his handling of the coronavirus and the state in general.
“If Gavin Newsom was the head of a big company, he would have been fired months ago,” he said.
Cox, who lost to Newsom in a landslide in 2018, said the Golden State had a poor quality of life due to the “cost of living, high poverty rate, high taxes and housing costs. high “.
“Homelessness is endemic in a crisis situation. We don’t have enough electricity, we don’t have enough water. And on top of that now we have the management of the pandemic which has been a shame, ”he said.
Cox said small businesses are “literally crushed” and young people “are not going to school or participating in activities.” In addition, the former candidate for governor called the distribution of vaccines “absolute mismanagement”.
