Former CIA member Valerie Plame plans Congress in New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Former CIA activist, author and activist Valerie Plame, said Friday she plans to be elected in 2020 for a seat in the US Congress in New Mexico.

Plame told the Associated Press that she spends time with residents and that she will make a decision soon. The seat is currently occupied by the US Democratic representative Ben Ray Lujan, who is retiring to run for the US Senate.

"Right now, I'm going out and meeting people," said Democrat Plame. "I have a lot to learn and would like to have another opportunity to serve my country."
