The director of the movie that brought Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly together called the bond between the two “magical.”
The 35-year-old actress and her boyfriend didn’t go public until May 2020, but Randall Emmett recently recalled the couple’s connection, which he noticed on the set of “Midnight in the Switchgrass.”
“There was magic in that room, 100%,” Emmett told Yahoo! Entertainment in an interview posted Monday. “I sat there behind the monitor, and there were takes where I was so mesmerized by their performances that I would forget to say ‘Action!’ Megan sometimes had to be like, “Randall, are you going to call ‘Action? I was like,’ Oh my god – my bad! ‘”
Emmett clarified that he hadn’t thought of “anything else” at the time.

Prior to her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, Fox was married to actor Brian Austin Green. Fox filed for divorce from Green in November.

“As a director, I felt, ‘Wow, there’s real magic going on there,’ but I haven’t seen more than that,” he explained.
“They are both amazing actors, and their chemistry was perfect. I would look at them and think, ‘Wow, that was a great scene’, but I really wasn’t thinking about anything else.”

Fox previously opened up about his instant connection with Machine Gun Kelly during an interview on Emmett’s podcast in July 2020.
“The second I was in a room with him and I said hello and looked him in the eye, I immediately knew he was what I call a twin flame,” said Fox at the time.

Fox and Machine Gun Kelly reportedly started meet while the two were filming for “Midnight in the Switchgrass”. Fox, who was married to actor Brian Austin Green at the time, then filed an application divorced in November.
