An old A Tesla Inc. employee who locked horns with CEO Elon Musk has agreed to pay the company $ 400,000 for notifying reporters of production delays at his Gigafactory in Nevada, according to a court file.
The payment is part of a proposed settlement of a lawsuit brought by Tesla in 2018 that accused Martin Tripp of illegally disclosing trade secrets about Tesla’s Model 3 production.
