A soldier from Fort Hood was reported missing after she failed to report for work on the base, officials said.
Jennifer Sewell, a Private First Class Soldier, was last seen at around 4 p.m. Thursday leaving her barracks, Fort Hood Emergency Services said on Saturday.

She is believed to have left of her own free will, but since then she has not shown up for work and has not responded to calls from family, superiors or law enforcement, said officials.
Anyone with information on his fate is requested to contact the military police.
“Military officials are in constant contact with Sewell’s unit, his family and close friends to ensure his health and safety,” officials said.
The base has been plagued by tragic disappearances and deaths in recent years, including the high-profile case of missing soldier Vanessa Guillen who was found clubbed to death in June 2020.
