Epic Games

Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 7 is over, but you can still make up for the challenges of season 7 (read our guide). Epic has pushed back the start date of Season 8 until February 28, allowing you to participate in pop-up tournaments and play new time-limited play modes (have you ever tried the Driftboard?) . As a bonus, Epic has also released a new set of challenges that allow you to win a free pass for Season 8 Battle Pass.

There are 16 free overtime challenges and you just need to complete 13 to get the free Battle Pass. Twelve are available now and the remaining four will arrive on Friday. If you do the work, it's like if you had $ 10 just to play Fortnite, which seems to me to be a very good deal.

Keep in mind that Season 7 Battle Pass holders still have time to unlock specific levels (47, 71, and 87) to unlock custom options for Drift, Torg, and Onesie skins.

I will update this post as new challenges unfold (Tuesday's challenges are now online and have been added). Here are the top twelve challenges in overtime (Note: the first of the screen capture concerns the free Battle Pass itself).

Collect coins in the featured creative islands

For that, you have to go into creative mode and simply launch one of the islands presented from the creative hub, then search for parts.

Inflict damage to opponents with assault rifles or pistols

It's about as standard as it gets for challenges. Note that you must however suffer 500 damage, so it can take a few parts.

Search boxes or ammunition boxes at a motel or caravan park

I've created a map showing where these two places are so you can get there quickly, but I have this strange feeling. I could be wrong (probably at least), but I think Epic Games sends us to these places because they may disappear in season 8. The RV park has been around since the beginning. So I could see the company decide to add something new and different. The motel is a bit newer, but you have to admit that it is not a very exciting place. We'll see if I'm right in a few weeks, but here's where they are:

Is Epic sending us just to say goodbye?

Place the top 15 in duet with a friend

Was there a team challenge before that was not a generic daily challenge? I do not remember it. This should be fairly easy provided you make an effort with a friend (and may not fall in Tilted Towers this time). Even if you automatically fill in to get your partner, if you play a little safe, you should get the top 15 without much trouble.

Find the health of a campfire in different matches

This challenge will obviously depend on the possibility of finding a campfire in the first place. It is also important to note that it's not enough to set the campfire; he must really treat you (so you can not do it in good health). I would suggest taking part in a great team match for this one as it seems like you will get a credit, no matter who puts the fire. Do not forget that only one game per game counts for the challenge, but you will need a total of three to complete it.

Visit different named places

Here is a challenge we have seen many times before, but note that you have to visit 10 different places. You can get more than one per game and if you plan well by landing on a coastline, you can make your way to cross several as the storm approaches. The next match is to land in another coastal area and the same thing.

Look for a decline in stock in different matches

Although supply declines can be dangerous, note that you only need to have two in different matches to succeed in the challenge. Just know that many people will do the same thing, so you can wait a few days to make it a little safer.

Revive a player in different matches

Your best bet here is to play in any team mode, because you will inevitably have a lot of chances to revive others. It should not be too difficult to get the three required raises, but remember that only the first count per game.

Here are the challenges that were posted on Tuesday, February 19th.

Visit different waterfalls

It's a fun quest that we've never seen before, but as long as you know where to go, it should not take too much time. Here are all the waterfalls on the map:

Inflict damage to your opponents with rifles or machine guns.

This is another common challenge that we have seen many times and I would not worry too much about it. Most people use a shotgun or SMG each time they embark on a close fight. You will probably complete this one without trying, but note that you must suffer 500 damage to meet the requirement.

Search Boxes or Ammo Boxes at The Block

It will be fun, but there will be many people from Tuesday. If you wait a few days, you will probably have more luck, but it will be almost free.

Place the top 10 teams with a friend

It's time to gather the old team or try your luck with randomly chosen teammates. Even if everyone does not succeed in making their way, there is no shame in hiding to be in the top 10. Just be careful and it should not take too many attempts to succeed this one.
