On Twitter, leading Fortnite leaker HypeX shared what they discovered in the game files recently. While going through the files added with the most recent update, the leaker came across a mysterious and never-before-seen object that appears to be a meteor, although it is named “boulder” in the files. On top of that, the files reveal that it has rolling physics, a “wake-up” effect, its own sounds, and even stats. Plus, while the image below makes it look small, it’s actually 1.5 times the size of the drive.

At the moment, it’s unclear what this stuff is or how Epic Games will use it, but of course the fans have their theories. And as some have pointed out, the fact that dinosaurs and meteors appear in the files at the same time is quite suspicious.
