Fortnite offering refunds on new skin

[ad_1]

Earlier this week, Epic Games released a pair of new Terminator skins for Fortnite, and the publisher now offers refunds to those who purchased the T-800. The official Fortnite The website reported that the skin comes with a built-in Cyberdyne Salute emote. This is not the case, which may have prompted complaints from players. Epic’s official Fortnite Status Twitter account reported that players will be able to request one using the in-game feed. A specific date when players can start getting this refund has not been announced, but will be available. next week.

The Epic Games Tweet can be found below.

The Cyberdyne Salute emote is meant to evoke the last moments of the T-800 in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, where the character took a bath of molten steel to ensure his own destruction and protect the future. The original trailer published by Epic Games announcing the content featured a tribute to this moment, but this time around the T-800 is stopped by Jonesy, who brings it into the world of Fortnite to get his help.

Fortnite Chapter 2 of Season 5 has a theme focused on the greatest hunters in the multiverse. T-800 and Sarah Connor are the latest “hunters” added this season, after Din Djarin (The Mandalorian), Kratos (God of the war), Master chef (Halo) and Predator. There have been a number of rumors regarding future hunters, including Tom Raider star Lara Croft. Epic Games has been steadily adding new skins since the start of the season last month, so fans probably won’t have to wait much longer to see which character will make the next cut!

Fortnite is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. You can check out all of our previous covers of the game here.
