FortniteContent updates are usually small additions to previous patches that simply add an item or make a small change. Updating the contents of hotfix 10.10 does both. This update adds the new Junk Rift element to the game, as well as a change to the old location.
The last element of the game, the Junk Rift, is similar to the airstrike that took place at the end of last season. Players can launch the Junk Rift at a given location to create a huge debris that will crush the ground, smashing everything in its path, including the players. As a bonus, Rifts have a chance to drop a variety of things when they appear. This can include anything from ammo to a weapon, to a giant item that players can use to purchase additional equipment.
Regarding the new area, this updated content has changed the recreation center located just west of Tilted Towers. The recreation center is one of the least updated areas of the map. After this latest update, the region suffered a complete disaster, a rift area exploded near it and left only one crater behind it. Inside this crater, players can now find Glitch consumables, which are randomly created versions of consumables from the past. These consumables include everything from apples to Hop Rocks to Shadow Stones.

Weapons and Objects
Junk Rift
A disposable object that breaks on contact and generates a large object in the sky that collapses on the ground.
Damage the players and destroy everything in its path.
Creates a small shock wave on landing that damages the players and destroys everything in their radius.
Direct hit: 200
Direct hits slightly repel players.
- Impact wave hit: 100
- Both strikes immediately destroy vehicles and destructible objects during impact.
- Drops in stacks of 2.
- Maximum size of the battery: 4
- Epic rarity.
- Available from Booty Booty, Chests, Drops of Supply and Llamas.
Glitched consumables
The glitched consumables are on the site of the blast. These switch randomly between different forageable elements of the past.
Give 5 life.
Grant 5 shields.
Grant 5 hit points (sum of the health of a shield).
Increases the player's movement speed for a short time.
Decrease the gravity of the player for a short time.
Turns the players into a ghost for a short time, temporarily increasing their movement speed slightly and letting them make their way through the structures.
gameplay
The card has changed! The Rift Beacon at the recreation center malfunctioned, causing an explosion that left a giant crater and created glitched consumables.
- Gloved consumables can only be found at the crater.
Art and animation
The Green Toy Wrap has been updated.
- For this reason, the owners of the Toy Soldiers Wraps lot have the option to refund the lot without using a refund token.
