The first Fortnite Season 5 map teasers have been revealed by Epic and there is a diary that hints at a new biome for the next season of Fortnite Battle Royale.
For each season of Fortnite Battle Royale, an epic hint and what’s to come with teaser images posted on their social media. This season, Epic has done something different as they haven’t released any teasers the day before the new season is released, and are doing so after the live event that just unfolded. They just teased a new biome that will be arriving in Fortnite Season 5.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 will be released in about 6 hours at the time of writing, and Epic has released the first teaser. You cannot currently play Fortnite and instead you will see a countdown to the season.
Fortnite Season 5 Map Teasers
The first teaser is a diary of someone talking and from the background noise it looks like they’re in a jungle, which means we’ll likely have a jungle biome on the Fortnite Season map. 5.
The log is called “Reality Log 1987: # 1 of 6. Target Description: Defender – Shapeshifter”
Here’s what the audio says:
“Why is every jungle in every reality crawling with poisonous snakes and strange predators. Ahh whatever, it will be worth it when I find Maeve. The people here call him a Wildheart. It changes shape for you and me. Rumor has it that the gods granted it three forms; Shark, Harpy and … ahh, actually no one has lived long enough to see the third. It’ll be fun!
