Put some order in your hacker business, season 8 of Fortnite must be launched tomorrow and Epic has detailed the date and time of publication of the downtime.

Season 7 will end at 1am on February 28th, and the dead time for the 8am patch will begin immediately after. Release notes detailing all new weapons, map changes or gameplay changes will be released by Epic as soon as the dead time starts.

Stopping times between updates usually last about an hour, but Epic confirmed that it was a larger patch and that downtime would take longer.

All re-readings recorded before the update will be rendered useless at the end of the timeout. Unlock styles for Season 7 Combat Pass sets can still be unlocked in Season 8, provided the base skins have been unlocked before the new season.

Teasers hinting at the theme of Season 8 have been released over the past week. The first image showed a pirate hook, the second a snake, the third a beast and the last trailer a volcano. By putting together the four presentation images, a giant skull has led fans to believe that season 8 is pirate-focused.

Season 8 comes just after Extra Time, a new set of missions to help players complete their Season 7 Combat Pass. Players who have completed at least thirteen challenges will receive the Season 8 Combat Pass free of charge.

Epic recently shared details about the Fortnite World Cup. Players can qualify online next April. The best players will face a $ 100 million prize pool in New York in July.
