The Fortbyte challenges are an additional set of challenges introduced in Fortnite Season 9. There are a large number of players who do not know how Fortbytes are vital for this season.

To unlock the hidden mystery / skin this season, players must collect 90 Fortbytes out of 100. In previous seasons, players had to complete a number of weekly challenges, last season requiring 55 weekly challenges. Epic has decided to get things moving this season with these Fortbyte challenges.

One of the challenges that was released on the launch day of Season 9 and which we have not touched on yet is the Fortbyte 13 "discovered at a hidden location in the # 2 loading screen" of the Fortbyte Challenge.
