The Fortnite season 9 has officially started and great changes await players in the Epic Battle Royal hit game. There are not only new areas to explore, but also a new Battle Pass to buy, which means a lot of new skins and other cosmetic rewards to unlock this season.
Of course, with a new Battle Pass, a new assortment of challenges is to be completed and the missions of Week 1 are now live on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and mobile. As in previous seasons, there are a series of secondary missions to complete, called Utopia Challenges. This is the equivalent of Season 9 of Discovery Challenges last season, and they can only be completed by completing the seven challenges of a given week. If you manage to do this, you'll unlock a special loading screen with a subtle clue that will lead you to a free battle star (which will level your higher level battle) or a banner (which can be used as a profile icon) hidden somewhere. share around the island.
Complete all the challenges of a week in season 9 and you will unlock the loading screen shown below. This time, the index is easy enough to spot. Look at the minigun and you will see a set of coordinates written on the side of the weapon: I5, I6, J5 and J6. It is there that you will have to go for the free battle star.
The area where the coordinates converge is just south of Lonely Lodge; you can see its exact location shown on the map below. Appointment in the area and the battle star will appear. Collect it as any other element of the game, then finish the match and you will level your Battle by a full level. If you know how the Discover Season 8 challenges work, know that there are a few caveats to keep in mind before you can get the Utopia Challenge Rewards of Season 9. More importantly , this battle star will only appear in the game if you have completed the set of challenges and unlocked the loading screen shown above, which means you can not just go to the right place and pick it up unless you have completed all the necessary steps.
