The Fortnite "Unvaulting" event has just taken place, here's a recap of everything that has happened, including the destruction of Tilted Towers and Retail Row. We will update this post with more pictures soon.

Epic Games generally entertains Fortnite players with live events. Last season, Epic had several live events in the game, including the Ice Storm and Marshmello concert events.

We finally had our first event of season 8, with the season ending on Wednesday, May 8th. Epic has teased an event for some time with Loot Lake's large metal structure, Loot Lake's five runes and surveillance screens featuring vaulted objects.

During the event, the players were able to vote for an article that they would like to see without any vault. The choice of objects among which players had to choose was the X-4 Stormwing aircraft, the Infinity Blade, the tactical SMG, the Drum Gun, the Bounce Pads and the Grappler.

During the event, players had to break the stone that contained the vaulted object with the Drum Gun rock destroyed first, so that it seems that the Drum Gun will not be destroyed.

Once the voting phase of the event was over, the players were brought back to the map and witnessed the volcano rock projecting from the volcano and the destruction of Tilted Towers and Retail Row.

In Retail Row, the surrounding homes remain largely intact, and the sweat-free building is the only building to have survived. Polar Peak was also hit by volcanic rock, but no significant change. You can see the changes made to the map: Inclined Turns, Retail Row and Polar Peak here.
