Fortnite will soon be playable on next-generation consoles, on Xbox Series X on November 10.
But while players are ready to go on launch day, some limitations will exist.
Players on Xbox Series X and PS5 will not be able to play Fortnite tournaments as they will be disabled due to a technical issue.
Fortnite Next Gen
Fortnite on next-gen consoles will dramatically improve the franchise. But things are starting in the background due to a new technical issue disabling tournaments.
This will mostly affect Xbox Series X gamers, as the Xbox Series X comes to the November 10. Meanwhile, the PS5 is on a phased release schedule arriving no earlier than 12 november for some regions, and November 19 for the others.
We don’t have a timeline for tournament issues yet, but will update this article as we learn more.
Fortnite Arena Playlist
With tournament queues no longer an option for next-gen players until technical issues are resolved, Fortnite players will be left with the Arena playlist.
It’s certainly not a bad alternative, but it’s a disappointment for players on launch day.
