Fortnite: where to find Predator’s apartment in Hunter’s Haven

Predator has arrived in Fortnite and it could be the toughest boss fight players have experienced so far. Here’s how to defeat him and unlock the Predator skin.

After weeks of teasing, the iconic villain from the movie Predator made his way to the island as part of update v15.21. In addition to bringing a skin and a new Mythic item with him, he also appears as a boss character that players can take on.

If you own this season’s Battle Pass, defeating it will tick off one of the new Jungle Hunter quests and unlock the Predator skin. You’ll have to wear this skin to complete other Jungle Hunter quests and unlock the full set of cosmetics, so it’s definitely worth it.

Defeating Predator is one of the hardest things you’ll do in Fortnite Season 5, but we’ve got a few tips and a location guide below that should make it easier for you.

Where to find Predator in Fortnite

Before you can defeat Predator, you need to know where to find him. You can do this by visiting Stealthy Stronghold, which is a jungle-inspired point of interest that can be found to the north of the map.

It doesn’t stay in a specific location like the Mandalorian does, so you’ll have to do some research to find it. We had the best luck landing near his crashed pod, which appears northwest of the point of interest.

How to beat Predator in Fortnite

As we said before, Predator doesn’t stay in one place for long, and that’s part of what makes this boss fight so difficult. He is incredibly agile and often pulls away from the player, jumping as he goes.

He also uses his new mythical item, the Concealment Device, which makes him almost invisible. He will only appear fully realized when attacking a player, so you often won’t see him until he’s right next to you.

To make matters worse, there will be plenty of other people desperate to take Predator down and unlock the skin too. This means that you will not only have to defeat the boss, but you will also have to keep an eye on other players.

However, we recommend that you take advantage of the popularity of this location. If you stay hidden and wait for other players to deal damage to Predator, you can rush in and deal the finishing blows.

Here is the best way to defeat him in Fortnite:

1. Get off the battle bus and land in Stealthy Stronghold.
2. Quickly stock up on the best weapons you can find – you will need them.
3. Locate Predator, who will often be near his pod northwest of Stealthy Stronghold.
4. If other players are around, wait for them to deal damage and weaken him.
5. Use a mix of close and medium range weapons to take him down.
6. Collect the Predator’s Concealment Device from its defeated body, if you wish.

Unlike the Mandalorian, which was easy to spot and was better shot from a distance, Predator will be a more up-close and personal boss fight, so make sure you’re ready with close range weapons like shotguns.

Another trick is to take on Predator with friends in trios or as a team, as you’ll be able to communicate and defeat him together – don’t end up wondering who will keep the concealment device afterward.
