Fortnite's massive robot expands, referring to the final of Season 9

In recent weeks, FortniteThe pressurized plant (the new destination inside the volcanic crater) opened to reveal the factory of robots that had already fled. Although the opening was not important at the time, the players were presented with the legs of a huge robot under construction. Since the last update, the robot is almost finished.

The robot factory is located at the location where previously stood the pressure plant, which had itself replaced the point of interest of the volcano before the eruption of the season 8. The news of the presence of Robot Factory has been the subject of two first leaks, but so far the new point of interest has not been terribly interesting.

It became clear that a single, massive robot being built at the factory would play a role in Epic's overall scenario for the game. Each update brings a little more to the machine, the most recent marking the addition a huge jetpack. Although the robot does not have a head yet, it now dominates the volcanic crater, overlooking the island of the Royal Battle.

The robot is supposed to have the code name "Doggus" and it seems that the only missing piece is the head, which will probably appear at the end of the countdown, or very close to it. There was no leakage on the robot itself due to a modification made by Epic in the game files in order to reduce the first information.

It's hard to say what Epic has planned for the robot, but the players speculate that it will fight the monster that was launched when the eruption sent stones into Polar Peak Mountain. The monster has been spotted in water around the island many times and has since returned to dry land, destroying a home in Pleasant Park.

Fortnite Season 10 arrives on August 1st.
