Four-cylinder Ford Mustang SVO 1986 for sale on eBay Motors

The Ecoboost Mustang is a rather fun car, but if we had the choice between this car and its GT-powered brother GT, we would take the V-8 every time. But the Ecoboost's Stang was not the first Ford Mustang four-cylinder built. There was also this, the SVO Mustang. It was one of the most capable and expensive Mustangs when it was new, and infinitely more interesting than any other Mustang in the lineup – the V-8 included. This one is in perfect condition, and it is on sale now on eBay Motors. You should buy it.

Welcome to You Must Buy, our daily look at the cars you really should buy rather than this boring suburban sedan.

The SVO Mustang was sold from 1984 to 1986, powered by a 2.3-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder, developing 175 horsepower upon introduction – the same power as the 5.0 V.8 car. By the time he was removed from the lineup, he was winning 205 horses. The power, combined with a lighter nose, Koni suspension and stiffer anti-roll bars made it the jewel of the Mustang lineup in the mid-80s, even though it did not have eight cylinders.

This SVO Mustang seems impeccable, which is not surprising considering that it has traveled less than 13,000 kilometers from the beginning. The paint is original and the chrome wheels installed by the dealer in 1986 still have a mirror finish. It is currently offered for sale on eBay in Booneville, Mississippi, for an immediate sale price of $ 25,900. If that interests you, you'd better act quickly before someone else jumps on it.
