Netflix has just announced a new season of Black mirror, but if you prefer a bit more your sci-fi dystopies on the side of the camp, Fox has what you need: a new show called following about a nasty Alexa who wants to conquer the world.
Seriously, although the trailer does not fully explain what the new eponymous, AI is (Does it make your taxes? Traffic Control? Play Spotify? All three?), It's 100% definitely Alexa. As in the original version, there is a version called Iliza, delivered in a cylindrical enclosure with blue lights. You put it in your kitchen and ask silly questions. And then, he tries to conquer the world.
There appear to be two parcels on the show: one in which Mad MenSlattery, John Slattery, plays the role of a technical CEO, but tries to put an end to the very powerful artificial intelligence that he helped to create, as well as to the program in which the program befriends a cherub child in order to better know the world (maybe?) and teach some bully a lesson about manners (most likely).
