Former OM coach Michel is in a short-list of three names for the post of coach of Spain .

While acting as World Cup interim, following the dismissal of Julen Lopetegui, Fernando Hierro will return to his position as Sports Director of Spain, and the Spanish Federation is looking for a new coach. According to most Spanish sports media, a short-list of three names emerges: Michel, Quique Sanchez Flores and Luis Enrique. According to Marca the former coach of OM (2015-2016) Michel is the favorite of the locker room of Roja, while the former coach of Barça Luis Enrique has several critics.
