A man kills his wife and commits suicide

A man killed his wife Saturday in Salernes (Var) before returning his shotgun against him. According to the prosecutor of the Republic of Draguignan, Ivan Auriel, the bodies were discovered this Saturday afternoon by the gendarmes and firefighters arrived on the scene. Also according to the prosecutor's office, which confirmed an information of Var-Matin, the man had called the firemen by indicating them:
"I shot my wife, hurry up before I finish it.

The couple, from Saint-Raphaël (Var), people of about sixty years, was staying in Salernes in his second home. The rescuers found the woman's body on the driver's seat of a vehicle, while the man was lying close to it

The purpose of the investigation, which turns towards a homicide followed by a suicide, will be to determine the causes of this tragedy, explained the representative of the parquet floor, and this in particular through an autopsy. The investigation was entrusted to the research brigade of the Draguignan gendarmerie. The man was not known justice apart from driving in an alcoholic state.
