The social network Facebook has denied Sunday that it sought to block the dissemination of content of the Belgian parody site Nordpresse on the Benalla case, citing "technical problems" to explain the difficulties of Internet users to share these contents.
"The contents" of Nordpresse "are allowed on Facebook," said the social network in a statement released Sunday in the late afternoon.
On the other hand, "we have identified a technical problem preventing the display of a glimpse "when people were looking to share a link on the Nordpresse site," added the social network
This problem "is being repaired, and we apologize for the inconvenience."
"These are technical problems that are not related to the content" of the articles, insisted the social network in its communiqué.
Nordpresse had indicated Sunday morning on its Facebook page to have received "hundreds of messages from people who have seen their shares of Nordpresse articles removed from Facebook. "
The site claimed it had been" blacklisted "for its satirical articles on the Benalla affair.
Sunday in late afternoon, Nordpresse indicated that the situation was back to normal.
"It is restored, our publications are back," said Nordpresse.
